Ecosystem Resilience
Scaling regenerative, nature-positive agri-food ventures, where growth strengthens the land and the communities working it.
About
Impact venture advisor and founder of Colab Alpha. Working with long-term intent in a world that funds quarters, not decades.
I began my career in sales and moved into product management at a large Indian multinational, working across regions. It was a stable path. In 2014 I left it to build something I believed in more: a nature-positive agriculture venture rooted in community mobilisation.
That venture grew into a movement. We brought more than 1,350 women farmers into the value chain, put around 4,000 hectares under climate-resilient cultivation, set up two village-level processing units owned and run by the community, alongside a central processing facility, and supplied products to established brands in India and abroad.
Running a rural enterprise teaches you things no advisory deck can: how fragile cash flow is, how long trust takes to build in a village, and how a single setback can stall years of work. It also taught me that good work doesn't get funded just because it's good. Someone has to find the right opportunity, tell the story honestly, and back every claim with evidence.
That's the work I do now.
Through Colab Alpha I advise impact-driven ventures on grant and award pipelines, investor readiness, traceability and market access, and impact storytelling. My clients include Tribalveda, a tribal women-led wild forest produce enterprise, Earth Story Farms, Grameen Corporation, Sainath Agri Farms and heritage food brands. I'm also a mentor with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, supporting women entrepreneurs in agri-business.
Focus

Scaling regenerative, nature-positive agri-food ventures, where growth strengthens the land and the communities working it.

Food and traditional knowledge turned into everyday wellness, while securing the income and dignity of the people producing it.

Traceability and data infrastructure (ICS, Tracenet, EUDR-aligned passports) that connect tribal and rural producers to formal markets.
Tell me what you're building and where the funding needs to come from. If I'm not the right fit, I'll say so, and point you somewhere better if I can.
