Questions founders usually ask first.
Do you guarantee funding?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What I can promise is a well-chosen pipeline, applications that are honest and evidence-backed, and a much better chance of standing out.
What stage of venture do you work with?
Ventures that are piloting or already have customers, revenue or measurable impact. If you're at the idea stage, write in anyway. I may be able to point you to the right programme.
How are engagements priced?
Most run as a monthly retainer, with a success fee on funds raised where it fits. The exact scope and fee are agreed after the discovery call, once I understand your pipeline.
Do you write the applications, or just advise?
Both. I write and edit with you, because the founder's voice has to come through, and I prepare you for interviews and screening calls.
Do you work with ventures outside India?
My focus is Indian ventures, raising from both Indian and international grant-makers, award juries and investors.
